When the temperature inside your home is high, the humidity and moisture in your home can build up.
If you have an existing ceiling fan, it will help regulate the air flow inside your kitchen, eliminating the need for a separate fan.
To install a new fan, follow these steps: Turn off your ceiling fan.
If your ceiling is already on, you can remove the fan to install the bamboo ceiling.
Remove the fan from the ceiling and pull it away from the base of the ceiling.
Using a wire stripper, cut a hole in the top of the fan and insert a wire into the hole.
Using the end of the wire, wrap the wire around the base, leaving the base unconnected.
Use a nail to attach the wire to the base.
Insert the wire into a hole.
Now, place the bamboo top in the hole and screw the wire through the hole to secure it to the ceiling fan base.
If the bamboo fan base has a screw hole in it, insert the wire in that hole and twist the wire so it’s not visible.
Then remove the wire and install the fan.
Check to see if the bamboo is ready to go.
If it’s ready to be installed, it’s important to remove the ceiling panel first, and then remove the bamboo from the top.
Do this by turning the fan on and letting it run for a few minutes.
If that doesn’t work, check to make sure the bamboo isn’t touching any other parts of the floor or ceiling.
Install the bamboo, and watch it work for a couple of minutes.
It should not be warm enough to keep the bamboo alive for more than a few hours.
If so, replace the bamboo.
Once the bamboo has finished its job, remove the panel.
If everything is OK, take it back to the garage.
Remove any unnecessary parts.
